If you have answered NO to any question then please don't buy a registration code. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and if you're not sure you're going to be happy, we'd much rather you didn't buy!

Buy a registration code

A registration code unlocks the downloadable Universalis so that you can view dates outside the two-month sample.
The registration code is valid for ever: there are no subscription or renewal fees.
When an update to the Universalis programs or databases is available for download, you can download and install it using your existing registration code: you don't need to buy a new code.
If you own several computers then you may be able to manage with one registration code: here is a detailed explanation.

By credit card

A Universalis registration code costs £30.00. The equivalent in other currencies depends on the exchange rate: in June 2005 £30 was just under $55.

By clicking on the "Buy Now" button you certify that your answer to all the questions at the top of the page is YES.

How it works

You will be taken to a shopping system operated on our behalf by FastCart UK. This will ask for your name, address, and contact details.
When you confirm that you want to make payment, you will be transferred to the WorldPay site. Your connection to the Worldpay payment pages will be encrypted and none of your credit card details will be passed to anyone outside WorldPay, not even to us.
You then enter the card details and any other information that the Worldpay system requires.
As soon as payment has been authorised, you will receive an email confirming the transaction. At this stage no charge has actually been made to your account.
All transactions are checked by hand. As soon as we have approved the transaction,
1. We will generate a registration code for you.
2. We will charge your credit card, as previously authorised.
3. We will send a registration code to you by email.
4. A full invoice for tax and accounting purposes will also be in that email.
Security: Note that your card details are stored within Worldpay's systems and we have no access to them. The only way we can get money out of you is by confirming the charge to your card that you originally requested and that your card company authorised. We are not able to request further charges on our own initiative.
Email filters: If you block emails from universalis@cardbox.com then you will not receive your registration code. If you notice this warning too late, first unblock the address and send us an email asking us to re-send you your registration code.

Our returns policy

Unlike physical goods, a registration code is intangible and there is no way of sending it back. The issue of a registration code is irrevocable and accordingly we cannot make refunds on it.

In truly exceptional cases where there has been an obvious mistake we may at our sole discretion issue a refund or (our preferred option) make a donation to charity on your behalf, but we will only do this on receipt of a signed statement from you confirming that the registration code has never been used and has been destroyed and accepting liability for any future use of that code.

Other methods of payment

Cheque

If you are within the UK then simply send us a cheque for £30.00.

There is nothing to stop you sending us a cheque from overseas as well, but it has to be in sterling and drawn on a UK bank. If you haven't got a UK bank account then your own bank will be able to produce a sterling cheque drawn on one of their correspondent banks in the UK, but they will charge you a great deal of money for this service.

Cash

It is well known that sending cash through the post is completely insecure. It may be stolen en route or the recipient may steal it and claim never to have received it. Nevertheless, given the huge volume of mail that goes through the international postal system you may decide that the risk is small and that you're willing to trust us. In that case go to your nearest bureau de change and get £30 in notes and post it to us, remembering to give us your name and address and your email address.

Credit cards again

If you haven't got a suitable credit card then perhaps you have a friend who has. Remember that the whole payment process is secure and we never get to see your friend's card details. All we ask is that your friend should email us to tell us to put your details on our database instead of his own.
