This page lets you choose which local calendar you want Universalis to use.
This page lets you set the following options for the Liturgy of the Hours:
Liturgy of the Hours: Invitatory Psalm: Whether to have the same Invitatory Psalm every day, or to have it change from one day to another, going through the four permitted options, as the Universalis web site does.
Liturgy of the Hours: Psalm translations: Whether to use the Grail translation of the psalms or the translation that is used on the Universalis web site. (The scripture readings are always in the Jerusalem Bible version).
Mass: Translations: Whether to use the Jerusalem Bible and the Grail psalms (which are used in the UK and many other parts of the world) or the New American Bible scripture readings and psalms. The New American Bible option automatically selects one of the United States liturgical calendars.
Mass: Greek: Whether to view the Gospel at Mass in Greek as well as English. See also Troubleshooting Greek for Windows Users.
Order of Mass: Whether to view the Order of Mass in English only, or in English and another language in parallel. The parallel languages provided include Latin, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.
This page tells you what version of the program and database you are using; it also lets you enter a registration code to unlock your trial version of Universalis and turn it into a licensed version: see the instructions.
Screen Reader Mode
This puts Universalis into a mode that is easy to use with screen readers for the blind and partially sighted. Here are instructions for using Universalis in that mode.
