About e-books

As well as programs and applications, the Universalis content can be obtained in e-book format.

Universalis e-books can be read on:

e-book readers such as the Sony Reader, the Barnes & Noble Nook, and the Amazon Kindle.
e-book reading programs on laptop and desktop computers and other devices.
mobile phones that can read e-books. Most mobile phones have e-book reader programs either built in or readily available.

Universalis e-books can cover a day, a week, a month, or a year at a time.

How much does it cost?

To get Universalis e-books you need to have a Universalis registration code, which costs £19.99 (though there is a free trial period). This is a single purchase: there is no subscription cost.

The e-books themselves are free.

The e-book formats

ePub

ePub is the industry standard format for e-books. It can be read by all e-book readers except the Amazon Kindle. Most computers and mobile devices also have e-book reader applications which can read ePub e-books.

The Amazon Kindle uses its own unique e-book format, incompatible for anything else. As well as the Kindle range of devices, Amazon supply Kindle reader applications for most computers and mobile devices.
