  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap in the middle of the screen to get the toolbar.
  3. Tap on the ⓘ button to get the Information menu.
  4. Tap on "Help & Tips".

A very brief introduction

To make the text bigger, double-tap anywhere in the middle of the page. To get beyond the biggest size available through double-tapping, tap the "Aa" button in the toolbar (see below).

To see alternative texts, tap the red button at the far right. The alternatives may be different saints, or a different choice of invitatory, Creed, Preface, etc.

To see the toolbar, tap once, anywhere in the middle of the page.

To see other Hours, tap the “Hours” button at the top centre of the toolbar, and pick the Hour from the list.

To change to another date, tap the calendar button at the top left.

To change font style and size, night mode, and switch between scrolling and paging, tap the “Aa” button at the top right.

To change the settings, tap the “” button towards the right of the toolbar.

To include daily extracts from devotional books in your Universalis pages, tap the “ⓘ” button towards the left of the toolbar, then tap on "Daily books". Full instructions are here.

To add memorial cards for your deceased friends and family, tap the “ⓘ” button towards the left of the toolbar, then tap on "Remembrance Cards". These cards will appear on the anniversary of the deceased. Full instructions are here.

To subscribe to spoken audio of the Hours or the Mass readings, tap the “ⓘ” button towards the left of the toolbar, then tap on "Subscriptions". You can read all about the available audio here.
